He specializes in gathering information, and fights with an emphasis on survival. Although he is registered as a force, he is a balanced type that has the aptitude to fight as both a hunter and a ranger.

¹飄々とした / hyōhyō to shita / 'like the wind' is a personality type that has no concise translation. EP3 Character Profile

He is one of the Three Heroes and the third of the Council of Six. He excels at espionage, but is also so powerful that no ordinary ARKS can stand against him. He is a clone of the first Casra, whose body Luther took over, and was supposed to become Luther's next body. He became the second Casra when Luther sent him to monitor the Council of Six. Commanding officer of the ARKS Intelligence Department. In the process of investigating the unknown origins of ARKS, he learned of the existence of Earth, and secretly sent Aika there. When the matter becomes public, he gives Xiera the information on the hidden planet, and also visits the bridge to explain the situation and apologize. However, his real purpose was to see the hero's face when he woke up from his cold sleep. After that, he often comes to the bridge to explain the situation between Aika and Matoi, and to interrogate Enga, who he suspects of espionage.

EP6 Character Profile

He is the third of the Council of Six and the second generation of the Three Heroes, Casra. The first Casra had his body taken by Luther, and the second Casra, born as a clone, was destined to become Luther's next body. Incidentally, this story was revealed in EP2, suggesting that Photoners¹ had the technology to transfer the soul from one body to another.

In EP6, he is in command of the ARKS Intelligence Division, and is responsible for the analysis of Shiva, the other Photoners, and their fleet. Because he is behind the scenes, he appears in the story only at the beginning and in the final battle. He and Zeno are in charge of the Mothership and its surroundings. In one sub-story, Klaris Krays imitates Casra's words, although she does not say them herself.²

For many years, Dark Falz has infiltrated ARKS using Luther as a substitute. Its aim was to gain omniscience by becoming one with the planet Xion. However, this is because Dark Falz is strongly influenced by Luther, and in a sense it can be said that it was used by him.

He possesses the ability of "time control" and can manipulate time within a limited space.

EP3 Character Profile: Luther

The only surviving Photoner until AP238. Publicly, he is the president of the Void Laboratory, but he holds "control" over Oracle, and uses the Three Heroes as pawns to rule ARKS. His goal is to gain omniscience, and his desire to do so has led him to become one of the Dark Falz collective, which he uses to fulfill his goal. After many twists and turns, he finally unites with Xion and gains omniscience, but his ambition is crushed at the hands of the protagonists. In despair, Luther reveals his true nature as "the Fallen" and attempts to eliminate ARKS, but fails. In the end, he is devoured by the Gemini twins. Luther himself, however, was not.

Luther lives in Gemini's inner universe and leads the protagonist and Matoi, who have also been eaten by Gemini, to the outer world. The easy version of the crown sticker design. (Only the sticker on the black shirt is red.) [I'm not sure what "easy version" is supposed to mean. When I looked up the characters making up this phrase it's either this or...fortune-telling?]

[On the hip ornaments] The red rhombus in the center of the waist side part is made of a shiny material like jewelry.
The black and red parts are matte.

The gold circular part is located in a hollowed-out area.

[On the shoes] The black part on the front sole is almost the same as the black part on the back sole.

The black part of the sole has several patterns in the same color as shown on the right (the specular value is quite high). (The specular value should be very strong.)

[Additional notes on Void Recorder detailing] This is a supplementary section to the part I could not explain in Part 1.

The gold line should have high gloss. (The luster should be so high that a thin environmental map would be acceptable.)

The white part should have the same texture as that of Deuman's main color. [I'm not sure if by main color they mean the Deuman default outfit, or their skin color]

The black part should have a matte texture. [This is about the "thorn" detail on the black shirt]

The red part is an image of the black part.

The golden screw parts are also shiny like the golden line.

[About the dagger-like protrusions on Luther's wings] You can pull it out and use it as a talis. It fans out like this when removed from the wings.

Basically, please make it like this illustration! Please give it the same feel of volume and silhouette as other Avian Falspawn [the word for "volume," ボリューム感 / boryūmukan, can mean "adjustment knob," so I think this means something like "Please give it the same silhouette as Avian Falspawn, but louder/more dramatic]

Please use the same textures as other Avian Falspawn, such as feathers, etc. [a note to re-use existing assets]

The red part of the belly is common to all Darkers

EP5 Character Profile: Varuna La Shiec

He gradually comes to trust the protagonist.

He is a knight of Cuento who serves Hariette as her personal guard. He and Hariette have known each other since childhood, and his parents told him from an early age that he would be her protector. Although he obeys Hariette, he sometimes advises her in a forceful manner and is always concerned about her. He is sometimes jealous of Hariette's favorable attitude toward the protagonist.

Although he is supposed to be a person of great ability and strategy, regrettably he did not have a chance to play an active role in the story. The name "La Shiec" is based on an enemy character that appeared in the first and fourth "Phantasy Star" games.

EP5 Character Profile: Varuna

A photoner in the service of the goddess of the end, Shiva, and the original Varuna of the otherworld Omega. Just as he served Hariette, he is a servant of Shiva in the Oracle universe, leading the protagonists to her. Varuna claims that he has no purpose other than to serve his Lord. He seems to share Shiva's beliefs, but the reason for this is unclear.

EP6 Character Profile: Varuna

He is a Photoner who was manufactured to have absolute loyalty to the Ultimate Vessel. He is also the wielder of the Cosmogenic Arms "Tensui Ritavlata".¹ He is soft-spoken and always calm, but he ruthlessly eliminates any obstacle to his master Shiva. In EP5, he infiltrated Omega and played the role of Hariette's servant in order to return Shiva, who had been banished to subspace, to the Oracle universe.

With his overwhelming strength, he confronted ARKS many times, but was defeated by the protagonist in EP6-5. He told them of his feelings for Hariette and breathed his last. In the True Ending, after pleading with the first Klaris Krays, he was reconstituted as a resident of Omega and aided Hariette.

In the final battle between the heroes and Varuna in the other world of Omega, the heroes are victorious, with Risa and Hariette delivering the final blow. Varuna entrusted the party with his thoughts and left this world.
